Denver
area mohel Dr. Ken Katz had the privilege of officiating at a special bris
last month. Andrea and Richard
Korrey flew to Denver from Seattle for what they expected to be a short visit
celebrating Richard’s mother, Vera Korrey’s 75th birthday. On the day of the party Andrea, who was seven months
pregnant, went into labor and delivered a healthy, although premature, baby boy.
The bris took place at Vera’s Crestmoor Downs apartment.
The early arrival also allowed the family to be together in Denver for
Passover. The newborn, Isaac, and
his parents are now home in Seattle.
